Near the emergency call button, elevators now have stickers for hearing-impaired guests, showing a scannable 2D barcode that connects to the elevator monitoring room. 

For guests who have difficulty communicating by voice in the event of an emergency in an elevator, scanning this 2D barcode with a smartphone allows them to communicate with the elevator monitoring room.

 

 

For Guests Who Need Assistance
 

Kansai International Airport can provide assistance to help guests make their way around the airport, for comfort and peace of mind.

However, we ask that the following assistance be provided by guests' own attendants:

  • Assistance in restrooms (getting onto/off of toilet, expelling waste, etc.)
  • Assistance with changing clothes
  • Assistance with meals
  • Assistance that will take more time than generally considered reasonable
