Kobe Port Tower was built in 1963 and is located in Meriken Park. It is a sightseeing tower and a landmark of Kobe. The red tower is built with a conduit
structure, and its drum shape (Japanese musical instrument) is very curved. The tower is 108 meters high, and there is an observation deck on the top of
thetower, which can overlook 360 degrees. Under the tower are the bustling streets of Kobe, such as Motomachi, Kitano and Nanjing Street, and you can
overlook the scenery of Osaka, Awaji Island, Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, Kobe Airport, and Rokko Mountain. There is a rotary cafe and a souvenir shop in the
museum. The bright red façade is beautifully illuminated by the lights, in stark contrast to the white façade of the adjacent Kobe Maritime Museum.
