Since their founding in 1780 in Paris, Chaumet’s history has been closely tied to that of France itself — indeed, the maison soon became the official purveyor of jewelry to Empress Joséphine de Beauharnais. Chaumet’s savoir faire for luxurious jewelry has been passed down from one generation to the next, for over 240 years. Each of their jewelry items and timepieces, made in their workshop on Place Vendôme, demonstrates their extraordinary skill and technique and pays homage to Parisian style.
