If you have at least 5 hours to spare before your connecting flight, you can join tours to the vicinity of the Kansai International Airport from which you can choose from 2 options: shopping tour by hop-on-and-hop-off bus (Sky Shuttle Bus) or Sakai-Japan cool Culture Tour.
Registration is based on first-come-first-serve basis and certain conditions apply and are subject to entry visa requirements stipulated by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority.
Course 1. Shopping mall tour.

A hop-on-and-hop-off bus (Sky Shuttle Bus) comfortably carries you to 2 major shopping centers near Kansai International Airport. Purchase of free-ride ticket is required. Course 2. Sakai – Japan Cool Culture Tours
The city of SAKAI can be reached within 40 minutes from Kansai Airport by NANKAI Railway. Japan’s traditional incense was born in Sakai. Sakai kitchen knives are popular for its quality among professional cooks. Japanese-style confectionery, Wagashi, was developed alongside the culture of tea ceremony in Sakai. A majority of bicycle parts are made in Sakai. Sakai has mix of the old and the new Japanese Culture.
The tour includes i) Round-trip train tickets, ii) Entry ticket to Japanese Garden or Buddhism Temple, and iii) Bicycle rental, with comprehensive guide maps.
