One day for you to experience the work done at the airport and by airline companies and turn ITAMI Airport into a playground for everyone.
Plus, it's the 80th anniversary of Osaka International Airport and the incorporation of Ikeda City!
We hope you can enjoy the plan that celebrates the double anniversary!

[Osaka International Airport 80 Year Anniversary Celebratory Message Board]
To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the opening of Osaka International Airport, we have installed a celebratory message board near the observation deck on the 4th floor!
We hope you can write a happy message on the Sorayan panel!

[Ikeda Incorporation 80 Year Anniversary Stage and Booth]
The Ikeda City Booth has prepared a gift to be given out on a first come first serve basis.
There are booths that showcase the familiar Ike-kara (fried chicken coated in dried ramen noodles) and the wombat.
The stage will feature performances from the Japanese Drum Group IKKI and the DEARS, the cheerleading club from the Hokusetsu area, among others.

*1 Depending on the operational situation, there may be no aircraft in the hangar. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes to ensure your safety as you walk around the maintenance area. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the JAL hangar. Alternatively, you can use the free shuttle bus from Osaka Airport monorail station.
*2 Children under elementary school age can not participate.
The event may be changed or cancelled depending on the weather or the flight situation. We appreciate your understanding in advance.

In principle, one ticket will be distributed per one participant. (All participants must line up) For safety reasons, 1 adult can accompany up to 3 children. Children* can not participate by themselves. (*persons under age 18)

[Rooftop observation deck]
Besides a stage event featuring mascot characters from the municipalities surrounding Osaka International Airport, there will also be lots of stalls selling food, beverages, and other goods.

[Elementary Student and Parents Airport Bus Tour]
There will be a bus tour that showcases the appeal of Osaka International Airports and various aircrafts. There is also a tour and experience involving an airport fire engine, which usually is off-limits.
The Elementary Student and Parents Airport Bus Tour requires registration beforehand.

[Control Tower and Control Simulation Experience Tour]
This offers a tour of the usually restricted control tower and a simulation of flight control work.
Middle school to high school students are eligible to join.

[Airplane Classroom and Radio Making Classroom]
Experience airplane control with the transceiver in a simulation after you understand the operations of the airplane control tower. You can create an AM/FM radio and take it home with you when you finish.
Elementary school 4th graders to middle school students are eligible to join.

["SORANOHI" (Sky Day) Memorial Campaign]
Nov. 12 (Tue.) to Nov. 17 (Sun.)
The shops and restaurants within the airport will serve the menus and goods for a valuable price.
