80th Anniversary Commemorative
ITAMI Runway Walk
To celebrate the 80th year since the opening of Osaka International Airport, we are holding the 80th Anniversary Commemorative ITAMI Runway Walk.
This is a chance to walk on the usually restricted runway and see the airport fire station. Commemorative photos can also be taken while on the runway.
Make use of this rare opportunity and make some memories during summer break!
People who would like to participate in the 80th Anniversary Commemorative ITAMI Runway Walk need to apply beforehand.

*Please note that this event is a late night event.
*After reception there will be a security check.

- Eligible participants
- Elementary and middle school students (At least 1 guardian must accompany)
*For people of middle school age and older (including guardians), a method of personal identification is necessary (official document with a picture).
- Number of participants
- Maximum 80 persons (up to 5 people can be registered in one group)
- Cost to participate
- Free
- Application reception period
- 12:00 p.m. July 8 (Mon.) to 12:00 p.m. July 12 (Fri.)
(If there are an excessive amount of applications a lottery system will be used.)
*The lottery results will be notified on July 19 (Fri.)
- Notice
- *Due to the early start time, public transportation will not be available. Participation is limited to people who can come to the venue by car etc.
*Participants will be entering the generally restricted area of the airport so lighters, matches and other flammable items as well as bladed items and other dangerous goods are not allowed. There will be a security check after reception is finished.
