Airport Initiatives and a Request to Visitors to Prevent the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus

Below is an overview of the initiatives being taken at the airport and a request to visitors to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. We are making every effort to prevent the spread of the virus to ensure the safety of visitors and staff alike. When coming to the airport, please make sure to wear a mask. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Initiatives at the Airport

  1. 1 Measures to Prevent Infection Among Passengers and Staff

    Airport staff members wear masks and gloves, and measures to prevent the droplet infection of the coronavirus, such as placing clear plastic curtains, have been taken at counters and other locations.

  2. 2 Health Screening

    Thermographic cameras have been placed at the security checkpoints  to check the body temperature of everyone using the airport.

  3. 3 Disinfection and Cleaning

    We disinfect and clean areas such as counters, security checkpoints, and escalators, and have placed hand sanitizer and increased ventilation in the buildings.

  4. 4 Social Distancing

    We have implemented social distancing measures (such as ensuring there is space between people in lines and seats) at security checkpoints, boarding areas, and other locations.

    We are taking measures such as placing posters about preventing infection in the terminals and posting on our official social media pages to ask that everyone coming to the airport make sure to wear a mask

  6. 6 Other Initiatives

    Other measures we have taken to prevent infection include closing prayer rooms, turning off hand dryers in restrooms, and suspending free food samples at gift shops.
    Also, many eating establishments have begun to offer takeout.

Aircraft are designed to ventilate the air every 2–3 minutes.

Staff are required to wear masks and wash hands, and trains, buses, and ships are thoroughly ventilated.
