Handling of International Passenger Service Facility Charge (PSFC) for Passengers who Used Terminal 2 Involuntarily due to the Effect of Typhoon Jebi

Dear Customers,

First of all, we would like to offer our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused by the effect of Typhoon Jebi.

The Passenger Service Facility Charge (PSFC) of JPY 2,730 per adult and JPY 1,370 per child (tax incl.) applies to passengers on international flights departing from Terminal 1 and is paid together with the airfare when passengers purchase a flight ticket. However, the PSFC payable by passengers who used Terminal 2 involuntarily instead of Terminal 1 due to the typhoon is JPY 1,230 per passenger (tax incl.) which is the standard rate at Terminal 2.

The difference between the charge already paid for Terminal 1 and the charge applicable to Terminal 2 is to be refunded via travel agencies or airlines you flew with. It would be appreciated if you could contact the travel agency or the airline for the refund.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to serving you again at Kansai International Airport.

Sincerely,
Kansai Airports
