Change in PSFC (Passenger Service Facilities Charge) Payment Method
Since April 1st, 2002 the Passenger Service Facilities Charge (departure tax) has been included in the price of airline tickets for all passengers departing from KIX.

or travel agent when you buy
your plane ticket.
Passenger Service Facilities Charge (Departure Tax)
The PSFC is 2,650 yen (taxes included) for adults and 1,330 yen (taxes included) for children, (i.e. those who have purchased an airline ticket at a discounted rate for children). Infants up to the age of two are exempt from the PSFC.
Refunds for Passenger Service Facilities Charge discount tickets
You may have unused discount tickets refunded by either of the two following methods:

| [ Procedure ] | Simply bring your unused discount tickets and ask for a refund |
| [ Payment ] | As a general rule refunds will be made in cash only. However, if you have more than ten discount tickets, your refund may be made by bank transfer. If you have more than ten tickets, please bring along some documentation that can confirm your bank account details. |

| [ Procedure ] | Phone the PSFC Office and give your details. An account confirmation form and a return envelope will be sent to the address you specified. Use the return envelope to send your unused discount tickets and the account confirmation form. |
| [ Payment ] | Payment will be made via bank transfer to the account you specified. Payment may take up to two to three weeks. |
